2026 Aspiring Member of Parliament for Kapiri Mposhi constituency, Pastor Victor Chisenga, is calling for Improved Support for Farmers.

Pastor Chisenga has issued a call to action for the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) to enhance its support for local farmers.

In a press statement issued to KBC news, Pastor Chisenga has outlined six key demands aimed at improving the FRA’s services and ultimately boosting agricultural productivity in the region.

Meanwhile, the aspiring Kapiri Mposhi lawmaker has hailed government through FRA for heeding to calls over increasing on depots which the FRA has just announced.

The Kapiri Mposhi parliamentary hopeful had earlier made a plea on behalf of the farming community for government to establish additional satellite depots in key farming areas such as Mpula, Nkole, Lunchu, Kabwale, and Luanshimba to ease the burden on farmers.

Pastor Chisenga had also implored government to introduce mobile maize buying services to help cut transport costs for farmers, making it easier for them to sell their produce.

Pastor Chisenga additionally tipped the FRA to consider procuring bags in advance and distribute them on time to ensure farmers can store and transport their maize efficiently.

He furthermore touched on the need to provide security for maize at depots to alleviate the burden on farmers and ensure their produce is safe.
