Indo-Zambia Bank presents a K60m Dividend to IDC

Indo-Zambia Bank has presented a 60-million Kwacha dividend to the Industrial Development Corporation -IDC. Indo-Zambia Board Chairperson Michael Gondwe says this is as a result of the good bank performance recorded in revenue of 2- billion Kwacha in 2024 from 1.69 billion in 2023. Speaking during the 2025 Indo- Zambia Bank Annual General Meeting Dr. Gondwe says this is despite the drought that affected key economic indicators such as inflation and interest rates. And Indo Zambia Bank Managing Director Brajesh Singh said the achievement is because of Government backed financial programmes targeted at key  sectors. Meanwhile IDC- Chief Executive Officer Cornwell Muleya has praised the bank for its performance despite a challenging year. In a speech delivered on his behalf by Acting Chief Executive Officer Leya Ngoma, Mr Muleya said the resilience demonstrated reflects the corporation’s agenda in promoting sustainable growth.
