Aspiring Member of Parliament for Kapiri Mposhi constituency, Victor Chisenga has commended President Hakainde Hichilema for deferring the ongoing process on Bill 7 of 2025 adding that this decision allows for further consultation with key stakeholders.
Pastor Chisenga in an interview with KBC news emphasized the importance of listening to the will and concerns of the people. He noted that laws are created for the people, and if they are enacted without adequate consideration of the people’s views, they may face resistance.
Pastor Chisenga said that it’s crucial that all stakeholders are given sufficient time to review the bill, educate their constituents, and submit their feedback for consideration.
