Chibwe Multi – purpose Cooperative board in Kapiri Mposhi face dissolution.

Chibwe Multi – purpose Cooperative board in Kapiri Mposhi’s Kakwelesa has been dissolved.  The dissolution has been necessitated owing to the alleged misappropriation of an undisclosed amount of funds by members of the said board.  The board has since been directed to quickly submit the annual financial records and report pertaining to the same subject matter.  Meanwhile, next month a new board for the Multi-purpose Cooperative is expected to be constituted.  This came to light when Kapiri Mposhi Town Council Chairperson Brilliant Munyeke addressed the board and members of the Chibwe Multi-purpose Cooperative.  And Mr Munyeke warned all those engaged in illegal land deals considering that the area hasn’t had a new chief Mukonchi installed. Among those in attendance during the gathering was the area ward Councilor Peter N’gambi. The Cooperative members bitterly complained of how the board has allegedly exploited the funds which is supposed to cater for their wellbeing and needs.
