Kapiri Mposhi town council chairperson Brilliant Munyeke has given baby hampers to the newly born babies at the main district hospital.
By press time, the hospital recorded three Christmas babies and was expecting other five.
Hospital representative a Sister Incharge Lister Napasanondwe was delighted that the local leadership in the name of the Kapiri Mposhi town Council chairperson exhibited love and care by giving to the mothers.
And speaking shortly after presenting the hampers, town Council Chairperson Brilliant Munyeke says he expected to deliver more hampers to the Christmas babies.
Mr Munyeke has also advised the Kapiri Mposhi community to celebrate the festive season responsibly.
