Reverend Dr. Solomon Muntanga, a clergyman of the Church of Christ in Kapiri Mposhi, has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating infrastructure at the Urban Clinic.
In a statement to KBC news, Dr. Muntanga described the clinic’s structure as “humiliating,” emphasizing that it’s unacceptable for a public health facility serving a rapidly growing population.
Dr. Muntanga is urging authorities to expedite the process to upgrade the clinic to a level one hospital, which would enable it to provide more comprehensive healthcare services.
He believes this upgrade would address the current limitations and ensure better healthcare delivery to the community.
He added that Kapiri Mposhi’s population has been increasing steadily, putting a strain on existing healthcare facilities.
Dr. Muntanga has highlighted the need for improved infrastructure to cater to the growing demands of the community.
The clergyman’s plea for upgrading the clinic is a call to action for authorities to prioritize the healthcare needs of Kapiri Mposhi residents.
As a religious leader, Dr. Muntanga’s concerns underscore the importance of providing quality healthcare facilities for the well-being of the community.
