Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Chairperson, Mrs. Mwangala Zaloumis SC., yesterday undertook a monitoring tour of the ongoing Mass Registration of Voters in Chibombo District.
Mrs. Zaloumis expressed satisfaction with the high turnout of eligible citizens who are taking this important step to register as voters ahead of future elections. She commended the residents of Chibombo for their enthusiasm and commitment to participating in the electoral process.
During the visit, the Chairperson also paid a courtesy calls on Her Royal Highness, Chieftainess Mungule, and His Royal Highness, Chief Liteta. She thanked the two traditional leaders for their unwavering support and for encouraging their subjects to register as voters.
The Commission wishes to remind the public that the Mass Registration of Voters ends today, Wednesday, 26th November 2025.
All eligible citizens who have not yet registered are urged to visit the nearest registration centre before the exercise closes.
