A FORMER Road, Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) officer, Phanwell Phiri, of Chingola Central has been identified as one of the individuals involved in an organised criminal syndicate which led to the killing of five criminals in Mushindamo district.
This came to light after police on the Copperbelt Province, apprehended two more suspects during an operation that was conducted on the night of April 6, 2026 in Chingola district.
Speaking at a press briefing yesterday, Copperbelt Province police commanding officer Mwala Yuyi, said Phiri was apprehended with Wesley Mwewa, of Chingola’s Malemba area.
