Calls are mounting for the Lukanga Water and Sanitation Company LWSC officials to stepdown over what some Kapiri Mposhi community have termed alleged failure by the company to deliver water services effectively.
Some visibly disturbed residents of certain named townships have demanded that the entire management at the water utility company step aside on moral ground as they lament beeing deprived of access to this fundamental human right.
The residents lamented that it is uncalled for that they can go for over 2 years without being provided with constant water from the taps.
The resident’s demands come despite the water utility company officials having recently outlined their short and long term plans to address the water crisis during a public gathering held in Kapiri Mposhi.
