A pastor has allegedly defiled three minors in Kapiri Mposhi.
And the parents to the victims in Kawama compound have complained that they have received very little support from the Zambia Police accusing the officers being unprofessional.
Chilufya Mubanga one of the guardians who is a complainant say it is saddening to see such cases getting less attention by those entrusted to enforce the law.
The incident occurred on Wednesday 16th July 2025 and the suspect has been identified as Davies Mwewa while the victims are of ages 11,13 and 14.
Meanwhile, Police higher authorities through Central province Deputy Commanding officer Lemekani Chirwa has clarified to KBC news in a statement that the suspect was arrested and charged then granted bond adding that police have not sat idle on the matter but pursuing the case.
Mr Chirwa said the suspect met the bond conditions of which he did but an officer made omissions which however is being corrected.
