A 64 year old man of Kapiri Mposhi is in police custody for allegedly defiling a 9 year old girl.
The suspect is of Kampoyo area and has been identified as Emmanuel Tembo.
It is reported that Mr Tembo did allegedly have carnal knowledge of the minor.
This occurred over the weekend on Saturday at an unspecified time.
It is further reported that the victim failed to come out openly as she was allegedly threatened not to reveal the ordeal.
Meanwhile, a medical form has since been issued to that effect.
Police sources confirmed the development to KBC news.
