Construction works of the Truck park at Kapiri Mposhi’s Turn off Junction is expected to be completed by December 2025. Speaking in an interview with KBC news, Town Council chairperson Brilliant Munyeke has reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to ensure that modern truck parks are dotted across the district. Mr Munyeke has warned that starting January 1st 2026, no trucks will be permitted to park in non designated places.  Mr Munyeke has also invited investors to partner with the local authority in order to set up more truck parks via a Public Private Partnership PPP model.
