Fear and misconceptions about cervical cancer screening are allegedly causing women in Kapiri Mposhi to shy away from this life-saving procedure.

Many women are usually afraid of the equipment used in the screening process, which is leading to a rise in undiagnosed cases.

Women in have expressed their fears about the equipment used in cervical cancer screening, citing concerns about pain and discomfort.

Though this fear is not only unique to Kapiri Mposhi, as similar concerns have been reported globally.
