The Movement for Good Governance party President also called ‘Ichabaiche” President Binwell Mpundu says being in politics today is political suicide as it has become highly risky.

Speaking when he featured on KBC’s radio programme Voice it out in Kapiri Mposhi, Mr Mpundu who is also the independent Nkana constituency Member of Parliament describes the peace being talked about by the UPND is hypocrisy.

He said that the high cost of living and the issue of loadshedding among others is unbearable to say the least.

He noted that peace in a country should be accompanied by tangible benefits for all to reap from the national cake unlike merely having political rhetoric.

Mr Mpundu says the new dawn administration has failed the Zambians adding that it is surprising that when one criticizes then you become an enemy of the state.

He also disclosed that part of the agenda once he gets ushered into office his administration will be a 24 hour economy.

Mr Mpundu has said it is amiss for Zambians to be clapping for the UPND that they are working on key road projects such as the Lusaka-Ndola dual carriageway road yet they are doing it using tollgate funds.

And he says he is going to report the matter to the ACC over what he termed reckless decision earlier made as he claims that is stealing from Zambians.

Mr Mpundu said that the tollgate funds should have been used to for instance in the agriculture sector to adequately empower the farming community.
