Kapiri Mposhi police are on the hunt for a suspect who escaped from custody yesterday evening.
The incident happened when the suspects were being taken back to police cells after appearing in magistrates’ court.
One of the escapees was shot during the attempt but still managed to flee with his accomplice.
Eyewitnesses say the escapees headed towards Lukanda plot area.
As of press time, police hadn’t released an official statement on the incident.
