by | Mar 31, 2025 | POLITICAL NEWS | 0 comments

The #UPND has noted with concern the demeaning remarks against President Hakainde #Hichilema by individuals sponsored by the #opposition.

UPND National Youth Chairperson Gilbert Liswaniso says derogatory language and insults have become the way of doing politics for the opposition.

Mr. Liswaniso has urged the opposition to evolve into modern day #political #party that believes in exchange of ideas rather than trading insults.

He told ZNBC News in a statement that Zambia is now a country on the rise under the leadership of President Hichilema and that economic hardships will soon be a thing of the past.

Mr. Liswaniso called the opposition to stop sponsoring thuggery as it only leads to self destruction.

He has also called on opposition political parties to be civil in their political discourse and urged youths to remain sober and not allow themselves to be used by politicians.
