The Matatila Charity Foundation Chief Executive Officer Lubemba Jessy Matatila has urged women to step out and rise to the occasion by striving for leadership mantle across all levels.

In an interview with KBC radio news, Ms Matatila has since implored women against viewing taking up leadership portfolios as a favor but as their fundamental right.

Speaking on the sidelines of the women’s month, Ms Matatila challenged the female gender to see equal opportunities and grab them by repositioning themselves for decision making positions.

She further encouraged women not to underrate themselves on basis of their gender but to pursue equal opportunities so as to equally raise and advance their self esteem.
