The ruling United Party for National Development UPND Kapiri Mposhi constituency Member of Parliament Stanley Kakubo has made it clear that he has not in any way abandoned the urban set- up as has been perceived by certain quarters of the public especially his critics.
In delivering his new year message to his constituents, Mr Kakubo has indicated to KBC news that he is empathetic of the many hurdles they are grappling with and that has not given a deaf ear to their grievances.
He bears with residents of the urban locality that he knows that they equally want to see a facelift in road overhauling which he says will be actualized with most township roads to be elevated to bituminous standard.
And the area lawmaker has announced a major development to address the energy crisis of load management which households were severely hit with which will be significantly mitigated via incorporating of CDF funds by installing a Solar power plant.
He has further elaborated many more other economic fundamental projects set to be realized.
