YOUTH ACTIVIST DENIES TAKING LEGAL ROUTE TO CHALLENGE CHAWAMA ELECTION OUTCOME.

Youth activist Michelo Chizombe has denied allegations circulating on social media that he plans to challenge the Chawama Parliamentary by-election outcome.

He called the claims false and congratulated the winner, Bright Nundwe of the Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD), who polled 8,085 votes, beating Morgan Munda of the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) who got 6,542 votes.

Chizombe described the by-election as credible and fair.

The by-election featured a total of nine candidates.
