CHIPOLOPOLO skipper Fashion Sakala says Zambia is not afraid of World Champions Argentina ahead of next week’s international friendly match between the two nations.
Chipolopolo have commenced preparations to face Argentina in a friendly that was confirmed by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and Argentina on Saturday.
Sakala who plays in the Saudi – Pro League was this morning part of the players that have turned up for training in Lusaka and said the players are looking forward to the game.
“We are just excited to play against the best players,” Sakala said, “We are not afraid of them [Argentina] obviously it is a pleasure and privilege for to play against them,”
Sakala said the match against Argentina is a good learning platform for Chipolopolo players.
“We are confident we can learn from them…we have already started talking about how important this game is it is just a friendly game, but we really want to learn from the best players. We have a lot of young players in the team very excited to meet some of the best players,” Sakala said.
He said players have to show a fighting spirit.
“What I am expecting is a fighting spirit, we have to go there and fight and prove ourselves that we can do it against the World Champions…hopefully we can fight and get a win,”
