Aspiring Kapiri Mposhi constituency Member of Parliament Gerald Mwamba has charged that it is shameful for the Council chairperson Brilliant Munyeke to claim that Kapiri Mposhi town council is among the top performing local authority’s countrywide.

In an interview with KBC news, Mr Mwamba cited the recent missing over 4.6 million Kwacha funds which he says has not yet been accounted for thus raising questions on the lack of accountability and transparency.

Mr Mwamba has further charged that looking at most of the projects which have been undertaken are mainly misplaced.

He went on to admonish Mr Munyeke stating that he must be the last person to declare himself as the most experienced parliamentary aspirant ahead of this year’s general elections  when he has failed to deliver under his current portfolio.

He was reacting to Mr Munyeke’s sentiment he made on KBC’s radio programme Voice it out that he has performed at his best during his tenure and were he also insisted that he is available for the parliamentary seat.
