As the country joined the rest of the globe to mark the international women’s day Sunday March 8th, 2026, Kapiri Mposhi Constituency Aspiring Parliamentarian Hellen Lungu has made a game-changing move, by purchasing land for a stadium in Kabelebele area right in Kapiri.
This bold step answers the district’s long-standing call for a sporting facility.
Ms Lungu, using her personal resources, secured the land with a view to supporting youth development.
The move has electrified the youth, who are rallying behind her.
“Kabelebele will finally have a place to play,” said an excited youth leader.
