RULING UPND TOLD TO PRACTICE FAIR POLITICS UNLIKE JUST TALKING- POLITICAL SCIENTIST

by | Feb 2, 2026 | POLITICAL NEWS | 0 comments

A Political scientist also a Retired lecturer of Political science at the University of Zambia UNZA, Dr Alex Ngoma has charged that it is disappointing how the UPND has not given adequate space to their opponents the opposition parties to go round the country freely yet bragging that there is political freedom.

Dr Ngoma says it is hypocritical for the new dawn administration to claim that there is democracy being adhered to when their political opponents have continued being  suppressed.

Dr Ngoma has since challenged the UPND government to lead by its word as opposed to merely proclaiming what isn’t on the ground.

He has further wondered what sort of free and credible elections this year are being talked about when other political camps are being suppressed left right and centre.

He was speaking in an exclusive interview with KBC news.
