Aspiring Kapiri Mposhi constituency independent Member of Parliament Gerald Mwamba has added his voice on the attendance of republican President Hakainde Hichilema in Tanzania for the inauguraton of that country’s president elect- Dr Samia Hassan despite a disputed election.
In a telephone interview with KBC news, Mr Mwamba says there is need to look beyond what others are saying in the negative but instead to look at it from a broad based scope.
He noted that those criticizing the head of State whom he personally salutes by doing so should introspect on the aspect of diplomacy which deserves to be upheld where respect pertaining to international relations is concerned.
He observed that President Hakainde Hichilema is a wise leader and hence he took into account all factors unlike having to opt to decline the invitation for such a ceremonious event.
