Aspiring Kapiri Mposhi East Constituency Independent Member of Parliament Blessed Bwashi Mulenga is saddened that most youths have been demeaned interms of even their self esteem owing to the absence of economic opportunities in the district.
Ms Mulenga has observed that what young persons need is just a little push upwards to uplifting their wellbeing.
Ms Mulenga also a Transformational Life Coach, added that many youths are struggling to make ends meet adding that it is only that they have nothing to lean on interms of business opportunities.
Ms Mulenga is however optimistic that youths have this chance to ensure they usher in leaders of integrity with genuine compassion and hence she has offered herself to run for the parliamentary seat so as to help bring hope to the constituents of Kapiri Mposhi east.
She has pledged to lobby for several skills training centre and unlocking of job creation.
She stated that it is unacceptable to continue seeing youths leaving Kapiri scouting to go to other towns in search of greener pastures yet the district has potential equally for an economic fortune.
She was speaking in an interview on KBC radio.
